Bachelor of Pre-Medicine, Science and Health (Medical Radiation Physics) | 2019
The Medical Radiation Physics minor provides a broad foundation in the enabling sciences of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. Building on this foundation with biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, a student is able to develop a holistic view of the operation of the human organism. In addition they will develop an understanding of the scientific principles underlying physiological processes, and medical technologies and instrumentation.
This minor provides a pathway into the Master of Science (Medical Radiation Physics), and via that into the training program for accreditation as a medical physicist in the Australian medical system. It also provides an excellent platform for those wishing to engage in postgraduate medical research in a broad range of areas, as well those simply wishing to pursue graduate entry into medicine.
