Diploma of Engineering Fast Track (International)

Course summary

The Diploma of Engineering Fast Track can get you guaranteed* entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) at the University of Wollongong (UOW).

The course is designed for international students, studying in Australia.

How do we solve problems using mathematical theory with physical and biological sciences? How can we design practical solutions for real world problems?

In the Diploma of Engineering Fast Track you will address these fundamental questions and gain the skills to be better prepared to succeed at your UOW bachelor. The course involves core first-year engineering subjects, which include theoretical and practical components, and hands-on experience in fundamental areas of engineering. You’ll explore various engineering disciplines, including maths and physics. You will also graduate with a Higher Education Diploma to help get you into the workforce while completing your bachelor's degree.

We offer one intake a year in Autumn (February). The duration of this course is 9 months full-time, or part-time equivalent. See the course outline for more information.

This course is accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Authority (TEQSA) and delivered by the University of Wollongong (TEQSA Provider ID: PRV12062; CRICOS Provider No: 00102E) on behalf of UOW College Australia (Institute of Higher Education: PRV12027; CRICOS: 02723D; RTO: 91159).
