Deferral Request

If you would like to defer your offer to study at the University of Wollongong (UOW) or Wollongong College Australia (WCA), please provide the following information so that a new offer letter can be issued. Your offer will be forwarded to the email address you provide following the University audit dates of 31 March or 31 August, dependent upon the session being deferred.

Please note:

If you are seeking a deferral for one of the following programs, or if you wish to be considered for an alternative course/campus please contact UniAdvice: uniadvice@uow.edu.au
- All degrees in the Faculty of Creative Arts
- Graduate Diploma in Education
- Research degrees
- Postgraduate degrees in Psychology, Nutrition, or Exercise Science
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
Undergraduate degrees can only be deferred for one year. If you do not take up your deferred offer then you will be required to submit a new application form. Applications to defer close on 31 March for Autumn Session and 31 August for Spring Session. No late applications will be considered.
An offer for a Commonwealth Supported Place in a full-fee paying postgraduate degree may not be available if the offer is deferred.

If you are enrolled in your first session and now wish to defer, you must ensure that you withdraw from your subjects via SOLS before submitting your deferment request. Failure to withdraw may result in financial penalties.
